Therapeutic Effects of Quviviq
Trial Design
The efficacy of Quviviq was evaluated in two multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, parallel-group studies. A total of 1,854 patients with diagnostic mental disorders and insomnia were randomly assigned to receive Quviviq or placebo once daily in the evening for three months.
Trial Results
The primary efficacy endpoints of the two trials were polysomnography (LPS, WASO) and self-reported total sleep time (sTST) from baseline to the 1st and 3rd months. Compared with the placebo group, the Quviviq group showed statistically significant improvements in both the 1st and 3rd months, with patients experiencing a substantial increase in sleep duration.
