Before taking Cyclogest(Progesterone)
Before using progesterone suppositories, patients need to fully understand and follow a series of precautions.
Before taking Cyclogest(Progesterone)
1. Cardiovascular or cerebrovascular diseases
Doctors should be alert to early signs of myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular diseases, arterial or venous thromboembolism (venous thromboembolism or pulmonary embolism), thrombophlebitis, or retinal thrombosis. If any of the above conditions is suspected, Endometrin should be discontinued.
2. Depression
Patients with a history of depression need to be closely observed. If symptoms worsen, consider stopping the medication.
3. Use of other vaginal products
Endometrin is not recommended for use with other vaginal products (such as antifungal drugs), as this may alter the release and absorption of progesterone from the vaginal insert.
