Key Precautions in Using TEMBEXA

Patients should undergo liver function testing before initiating treatment and periodically during therapy. The drug also carries a risk of embryo-fetal toxicity, and should be avoided in pregnant individuals or those who could become pregnant unless contraception is used. Additionally, TEMBEXA® has been associated with male infertility in animal studies, and its use may impair fertility in individuals of reproductive potential.
