Warnings and Precautions for Enbrel

Enbrel is contraindicated in patients with sepsis. It should not be started during an active infection, and patients should be monitored closely for infections throughout treatment, including tuberculosis (TB) and fungal infections. In cases of serious infections, Enbrel should be discontinued. Special caution is needed for patients with a history of hepatitis B, heart failure, or those who may be at increased risk for infections.
