Additionally, severe hypersensitivity reactions can occur, necessitating immediate cessation of the drug. Alhemo also increases fibrin D-dimer and prothrombin fragment 1+2 levels, so regular blood testing is essential to detect potential clotting abnormalities and guide treatment decisions.
