ExtraSuperTadarise is a combined preparation, whose main ingredients include Tadalafil and Dapoxetine. It is used for the treatment of male Erectile Dysfunction (ED) and Premature Ejaculation (PE). Tadalafil is a type of PDE5 inhibitor, which improves erectile function by increasing blood flow to the penis; Dapoxetine is a short-acting selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI), used to delay the ejaculation time.
What are the side effects of ExtraSuperTadarise?

Insomnia (3.1%-5.9%).
Fatigue (2.9%-6.1%).
Diarrhea (3.9%-6.8%).
Severe side effects of ExtraSuperTadarise that require vigilance
Cardiovascular risks
Fatal interaction with nitrate drugs: Concurrent use with any form of organic nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) can lead to life-threatening hypotension.
QT interval prolongation: High doses may prolong the QT interval (an average prolongation of 3.5 milliseconds at a Tadalafil dose of 100mg).
Risk of myocardial infarction: Sexual activity itself poses risks to patients with cardiovascular diseases, and this drug should not be used by cardiovascular patients who are not suitable for sexual activity.
Neurological reactions
Syncope (related to Dapoxetine, incidence rate: approximately 0.06%-0.2%)
Serotonin syndrome (especially when used in combination with other SSRIs)
Seizures (rare but require vigilance)
Other severe risks
Priapism (persistent penile erection): An erection lasting more than 4 hours requires emergency treatment to prevent permanent damage.
Sudden hearing loss: A common effect of PDE5 inhibitors, usually unilateral.
Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION): The risk is increased in patients with cardiovascular risk factors.
Precautions for taking ExtraSuperTadarise
Medication for special populations
Hepatic insufficiency: For patients with mild to moderate hepatic insufficiency, the maximum dose should not exceed 10mg per day; it is contraindicated for patients with severe hepatic insufficiency.
Renal insufficiency: For patients with moderate renal insufficiency (CrCl 30-50mL/min): the maximum dose is 10mg every 48 hours. For patients with severe renal insufficiency (CrCl <30mL/min): the maximum dose is 5mg per day.
Elderly patients: For patients aged ≥65 years, no dose adjustment is required, but careful monitoring is necessary.
Important medication instructions
Administration timing: It is recommended to take the drug 30-60 minutes before sexual activity.
Dietary effects: A high-fat meal may delay the absorption of Dapoxetine but has no effect on Tadalafil.
Alcohol restriction: Excessive alcohol consumption (≥5 units) should be avoided to prevent the enhancement of hypotensive effects.
