Who can use Kineret(Anakinra)?

Kineret (anakinra), a recombinant interleukin-1 receptor antagonist, is indicated for adults with moderate-to-severe rheumatoid arthritis (RA) who have had an inadequate response to other disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs). 

Who can use Kineret(Anakinra)?

It may also be used off-label for other inflammatory conditions like adult-onset Still's disease or cryopyrin-associated periodic syndromes (CAPS), under specialist supervision. Contraindications include active serious infections, hypersensitivity to anakinra or its components, and caution is advised in patients with a history of recurrent infections or neutropenia.
