The recommended dose of fidaxomicin is one 200mg fidaxomicin tablet, taken twice a day for 10 consecutive days.
(2) Pediatric patients (6 months to under 18 years of age)
① Tablets: For pediatric patients weighing at least 12.5kg and able to swallow tablets, the recommended dose is one 200mg fidaxomicin tablet, taken orally twice a day for 10 days.
② Oral suspension: The recommended dose of oral suspension for pediatric patients is based on body weight. Fidaxomicin oral suspension is taken orally twice a day for 10 days, and an oral dosing syringe can be used for administration if desired.
How should fidaxomicin be taken?
