Cerezyme dosage is individualized based on disease severity and patient weight, administered intravenously under medical supervision.

Cerezyme (Imiglucerase) Dosing and Administration Protocol

The recommended dosage of Cerezyme for Type 1 Gaucher disease is highly individualized, ranging from 2.5 units/kg administered three times a week to a higher dose of 60 units/kg administered once every two weeks. Therapy should be directed by physicians knowledgeable in managing Gaucher disease. For patients weighing 18 kg or greater, the diluted Cerezyme solution is infused intravenously over 1 to 2 hours. For patients weighing less than 18 kg, the infusion duration is 2 hours. Dosage titration is crucial and should be based on ongoing assessment of clinical manifestations and the therapeutic goals established for the individual patient. Preparation involves reconstituting the lyophilized powder and further diluting it with 0.9% Sodium Chloride Injection, USP.

Imiglucerase for Injection(Cerezyme)
Cerezyme (imiglucerase) is indicated for the treatment of adults and pediatric patients aged 2 years and older diagnosed with Type 1 Gaucher disease.
