Dosing Regimen

The recommended dosage is 6 mg/kg per week subcutaneously, administered either as 2 mg/kg three times weekly or 1 mg/kg six times weekly. For perinatal/infantile-onset patients with insufficient efficacy, the dose may be escalated to 9 mg/kg per week (3 mg/kg three times weekly). Injection sites must be rotated, and the 80 mg/0.8 mL vial is contraindicated in patients weighing under 40 kg due to lower systemic exposure. The solution must be administered within 3 hours of removal from refrigeration.
