FASLODEX® is administered intramuscularly, with a recommended dose of 500 mg for most patients and a reduced dose of 250 mg for those with moderate hepatic impairment.

Dosage and Administration  

The recommended dose of FASLODEX® for most patients is 500 mg, administered intramuscularly as two 5 mL injections (one in each buttock) on Days 1, 15, 29, and then once monthly thereafter. For patients with moderate hepatic impairment, the recommended dose is reduced to 250 mg, administered as a single 5 mL injection on the same schedule. The injection should be performed slowly (1-2 minutes per site) to minimize discomfort and avoid injury to the sciatic nerve, particularly when using the dorsogluteal site. The drug is designed for intramuscular use and must be carefully injected into the gluteal area.
