The recommended starting dose of REBLOZYL is 1 mg/kg once every 3 weeks, with adjustments based on patient response.
Dosage and Administration of REBLOZYL
The recommended initial dosage of REBLOZYL is 1 mg/kg administered subcutaneously once every 3 weeks. Before each dose, hemoglobin (Hgb) levels and transfusion records should be reviewed to determine if dosage adjustments are needed. Dose titration should follow specific guidelines to manage response, as outlined in the full prescribing information. In cases of adverse reactions, treatment may need to be interrupted or discontinued, if no reduction in transfusion burden is observed after 9 weeks at the maximum dose. If a dose is missed or delayed, it should be administered as soon as possible with the next dose administered at least 3 weeks later.
