Dosage and Administration of TRYNGOLZA
The recommended dose of TRYNGOLZA for adults with familial chylomicronemia syndrome (FCS) is 80 mg, administered subcutaneously once a month. The drug should be injected into the abdomen or the front of the thigh, with the back of the upper arm being an alternative site if administered by a healthcare provider or caregiver. Prior to injection, patients should be trained on the proper technique. The autoinjector should be removed from the refrigerator 30 minutes before use and inspected for clarity. In case of a missed dose, it should be administered as soon as possible, resuming the regular monthly schedule thereafter.
