Adverse Reactions
The most frequently reported adverse reactions, occurring in 20% or more of patients, encompass nail disorders, inflammation of the mouth lining (stomatitis), ocular dryness, generalized fatigue, hair loss, and hand-foot skin reaction syndrome. Other common effects involve joint pain, taste distortion, constipation, abdominal discomfort, dry mouth, eyelash changes, diarrhea, skin dryness, reduced appetite, blurred vision, and vomiting. Laboratory abnormalities often include increased creatinine and phosphate levels, decreased phosphate and hemoglobin, and elevated liver enzymes.
