Adverse Reactions
Common adverse reactions occurring in more than 2% of patients and more frequently than with placebo include hot flashes, leg cramps, peripheral edema, flu syndrome, arthralgia, and sweating. The most serious risk is venous thromboembolism, including deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. Increased incidences of superficial thrombophlebitis and mortality due to stroke have also been observed in specific clinical trials.
