Profile of Adverse Reactions
BAVENCIO can cause severe and fatal immune-mediated adverse reactions affecting organs such as the lungs (pneumonitis), colon (colitis), liver (hepatitis), endocrine glands, and kidneys. Infusion-related reactions are also common. The most frequent adverse reactions vary by cancer type: in MCC, they include fatigue, musculoskeletal pain, and rash; in UC maintenance, fatigue and urinary tract infection are common; and with RCC combination therapy, diarrhea, fatigue, and hypertension occur very frequently. Patients should be monitored closely, and management may require corticosteroids, treatment interruption, or discontinuation.
