Adverse Reactions
The most frequently reported adverse reactions (occurring in ≥20% of patients) include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, elevated blood bilirubin, and decreased appetite. A serious and potentially fatal side effect is differentiation syndrome, which requires immediate management with corticosteroids. Other significant adverse reactions can include noninfectious leukocytosis and tumor lysis syndrome. Laboratory abnormalities often include increased total bilirubin and decreased calcium levels.
