Adverse Reactions
The most common adverse reactions (>20%) include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, rash, palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia, and fatigue. TYKERB has been associated with serious side effects such as severe hepatotoxicity (which can be fatal), decreased left ventricular ejection fraction, severe diarrhea, interstitial lung disease/pneumonitis, QT prolongation, and severe cutaneous reactions. Patients should be monitored closely for these potential events.
