Adverse Reactions

The most frequently reported adverse reactions (≥30%) include headache, fever, skin/mucous membrane dryness, bone pain, and shivering. Serious and potentially life-threatening effects include Differentiation Syndrome (≈26%), leukocytosis (≈40%), intracranial hypertension, hepatotoxicity, lipid abnormalities, and thromboembolic events, necessitating vigilant monitoring.

VESANOID is indicated for the induction of remission in adults and pediatric patients 1 year of age and older with acute promyelocytic leukemia (APL).
