Tysabri(Natalizumab) Side Effects

Most common adverse reactions (incidence ≥ 10%):

In patients with MS: Headache, fatigue, arthralgia, urinary tract infection, lower respiratory tract infection, gastroenteritis, vaginitis, depression, limb pain, abdominal discomfort, non-specific diarrhea, rash.

In patients with CD: Headache, upper respiratory tract infection, nausea, fatigue.

Serious adverse reactions: PML (Progressive Multifocal Leukoencephalopathy), herpes infections (encephalitis, meningitis, acute retinal necrosis), hepatotoxicity, hypersensitivity reactions (including anaphylactic shock), immunosuppression-related infections, hematological abnormalities (e.g., thrombocytopenia).

Natalizumab(Tysabri)
It is indicated for the monotherapy of relapsing multiple sclerosis in adults, as well as the induction and maintenance treatment of moderately to severely active Crohn's disease.
