Side Effects of EMPAVELI
The most frequently reported adverse reactions in PNH patients treated with EMPAVELI® include injection site reactions (pain, redness, swelling), infections (e.g., respiratory and viral infections), and gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea and abdominal pain. Additional side effects include fatigue, hypokalemia, pain in extremities, and arthralgia. Patients may also experience cough, headache, dizziness, and rash. These side effects should be managed with appropriate medical intervention, and if persistent or severe, a healthcare provider may need to adjust the therapy or provide additional support to minimize discomfort or complications.
