The most common side effects of QALSODY™ include pain, fatigue, and myalgia, with more serious reactions linked to the injection procedure.
Adverse Reactions
In clinical trials, the most common adverse reactions (≥10% incidence) associated with QALSODY™ treatment were pain, fatigue, arthralgia, myalgia, and increased cerebrospinal fluid white blood cell count. These reactions are generally manageable and should be closely monitored. However, serious reactions related to the intrathecal injection, such as aseptic meningitis, myelitis, radiculitis, and papilledema with elevated intracranial pressure, have been reported. Physicians should be vigilant in identifying and addressing these potential side effects, ensuring patient safety through regular assessments and appropriate interventions.
