Common side effects observed in clinical studies include vomiting, nausea, fever, peripheral edema, anxiety, headache, and abdominal pain.
Common Adverse Reactions
Constipation, diarrhea, hypophosphatemia, and pharyngolaryngeal pain have also been reported. Elevated alanine aminotransferase levels are another concern. In rare cases, serious hypersensitivity reactions and hemolysis can occur, especially in patients with G6PD deficiency. These adverse effects necessitate close monitoring, with immediate discontinuation if any serious reactions develop.
