Common side effects of REBLOZYL include fatigue, headache, musculoskeletal pain, hypertension, and nausea, with more serious risks including thromboembolism and EMH.
Side Effects of REBLOZYL
The most common side effects of REBLOZYL (occurring in more than 10% of patients) include fatigue, headache, musculoskeletal pain, arthralgia, dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain, and hypertension. Less frequently, patients may experience cough, dyspnea, edema, and hypersensitivity reactions. Serious adverse reactions can include thromboembolic events, particularly in patients with beta thalassemia, and complications related to extramedullary hematopoiesis (EMH), which may require treatment discontinuation. Patients should be monitored closely during treatment, and any severe reactions should be addressed promptly to avoid further complications.
