Adverse Event Profile of KINERET
In rheumatoid arthritis patients, common adverse effects include injection site reactions, headache, upper respiratory infections, nausea, and sinusitis. In NOMID patients, the most frequent side effects include injection site reactions, vomiting, and fever. For DIRA patients, upper respiratory tract infections, rash, and influenza-like symptoms are common. Serious adverse events such as hypersensitivity reactions, including anaphylaxis and Drug Reaction with Eosinophilia and Systemic Symptoms (DRESS), may also occur, requiring prompt medical attention. Monitoring for these reactions is essential, especially during the first weeks of treatment.
